Despite taking time off last week, Cameron Young remained at the top of the PGA Tour money list for the fourth straight week.
But Scotty Scheffler’s is closing.
When Young won the Cadillac Championship on May 3 and took over the top spot, he outsold Scheffler by nearly $730,000. But after Scheffler finished alone in third place at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson on May 24 with a check of $710,700, he closed the gap on Young to less than $300,000, or $278,301 to be exact.
Cameron Young missed the week of the CJ Cup match against Byron Nelson, but he still leads the PGA Tour money list with nearly $12 million.
But nothing will change this week for the top three earners, Young, Scheffler and Matt Fitzpatrick (approximately $11 million). Topping the list of prize money in this category is Akshay Bhatia, who ranks seventh with $6.3 million. If he wins the $1.782 million first-place check at the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial National Golf Club in Fort Worth, the best he can do is finish fourth ahead of Collin Morikawa, Jacob Bridgman and Rory McIlroy.

Also competing for Colonial are 10th place Ludwig Oberg, 16th place Rickie Fowler, 18th place Alex Smalley, and 22nd place JJ Spaun.
How high did Wyndham-Clark rank?
At the CJ Cup, Windham Clark defeated Byron Nelson with a final-round 60, his first win since the 2023 U.S. Open. The $1,854,000 first-place check moved him from 78th to 31st on the prize money list, bringing his total to more than $2.8 million.
How big is Millionaire Club?
When Clark signed his winning scorecard, he officially placed 79th.th Players to win more than $1 million on the course on this year’s PGA Tour. At the same time in 2025, there were 82 people.

There are 46 players making $2 million or more, 27 players making $3 million or more, 19 players making $4 million or more, 11 players making $5 million or more, and 15 official money events remaining.
Inflation and big wallets aside, it’s only been 27 years since Tiger Woods became the first player to earn more than $5 million in a season in 1999.
