Golf’s third major tournament of the year begins on Thursday, June 18th, with the 2026 U.S. Open at Sinek Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York. This is the sixth time the course has hosted the U.S. Open, the most recent being in 2018. Brooks Koepka won by 1 over that year, and one of the most demanding courses in golf will be a big challenge again at the 2026 U.S. Open.

Masters winner Rory McIlroy is at +900, Koepka is at +2200, and PGA Championship winner Aaron Rye is at +7000. 2023 U.S. Open champion Windham Clark is +5000 after winning last week’s CJ Cup Byron Nelson. 2026 US Open Predictions
One of the big surprises this model is conjuring for the 2026 U.S. Open is that Xander Schauffele, one of six golfers priced below +2000, stumbles and finishes outside the top five. He’s a golfer who fades in on U.S. Open futures bets. Schauffele won two majors in 2024: the PGA Championship and the British Open Championship. However, he has only won one PGA event since then, and that was at the 2025 Bay Current Classic during the FedEx Cup fall season. See who else will be fading out here.
Another surprise is that Ludvig Aberg is 0-for-10 in his major career and is among the top three prospects on the predicted leaderboard despite missing out on last year’s U.S. Open. Aberg has been on a roll this spring, finishing in the top 10 in six of seven tournaments, from the Arnold Palmer Invitational to the PGA Championship. He ranks second on the PGA Tour in total strokes gained and has also been exceptional off the tee, ranking second in total driving strokes gained and 12th in average driving distance.
