  • Premier League forward wants to join Spurs
  • Why Sabinho is an upgrade over Kolo Muani for Spurs
        • He looks like Moussa Dembele: Spurs line-up moves to £100m deal for Premier League star

Ah, Tottenham Hotspur. To be fair, the Londoners continued to thrill fans until the final day of the Premier League, beating Everton 1-0 to avoid relegation.

Spurs have avoided the unthinkable and now Roberto De Zerbi can push ahead with a comeback that seemed never to come throughout this difficult season.

Cynics might argue that it has yet to arrive and that Tottenham have much more to prove than their ability to remain at the highest level. This feat has been achieved every year in the top flight since 1978.

ENIC Group cannot afford to disrupt the impending summer transfer window and with the talented Premier League forward already close to completing a move to the club, now is the time to show the fan base that they mean business.

Premier League forward wants to join Spurs

Totteham are wasting no time in getting back on track. Signings are underway for experienced defenders Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi, with both expected to be completed before the start of the World Cup.

But James Madison says the exodus from a disgruntled fan base is expected, necessary and desired.

Cristian Romero will be leaving the club, but it is certain that he will not be the only one to make way for new forwards, including Randal Kolo Muani and striker Richarlison. ENIC already has that in mind.

According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham are also looking to progress further, with Savinho in their line-up as the perfect attacking player to reinvigorate their side next season.

Furthermore, the 21-year-old Manchester City winger, who has struggled for minutes this season, is very keen to complete a move as he came close to joining the North Londoners a year ago.

Indeed, Sabinho came close to joining Spurs for £60m last summer and had two official bids, but City withdrew from negotiations in the final stages.

Why Sabinho is an upgrade over Kolo Muani for Spurs

Sabinho has limited appearances for Man City and appears determined to leave the club this summer and resettle himself at the heart of a new project that aligns with his ambitions.

he needs to play. He is one of England’s most agile and stylish wingers, a flamboyant winger who flows from an unfathomable well of creativity.

A close examination of Sabinho’s 2025-26 Premier League season will be to extract the bare bones of his Manchester City career. He played little, starting just seven games during manager Pep Guardiola’s heated chant.

But he showed a lot of promise in that first season and has certainly brought more to Tottenham this year than the likes of Kolo Muani.

Sabinho is a winger who can play on both flanks. He may not be the most prolific in front of goal, but given that he is so young, there is every reason to be optimistic that he may progress in the coming years, especially for De Zerbi’s team, who will likely entrust him with a greater purpose than he found in Manchester.

After all, even if he were given the role, he could hardly have done worse than Kolo Muani, who was branded “absolutely pathetic” by content creator Ben Bowman in December, and whose disastrous loan spell only sank further into the mud in the second half of the campaign.

In contrast, Sabinho actually has demonstrable evidence of his ability to succeed in the Premier League. He had an excellent performance last season and was described by talent scout Jacek Kulig as “one of the best U21 players in Europe”.

Despite signing a new long-term contract with the Etihad in October 2025, the Brazilian is looking for a move to restart a career that has stalled over the past year. The fact that he was left out of Carlo Ancelotti’s World Cup underlines that.

Joining Tottenham feels like a nervy deal at the moment for a talented footballer, but he has shown improvement after the March international break and De Zerbi truly believes his passion and vision can bring the club back into the limelight. Those in power need to listen to him and sign the players he wants within his own country.

It was significant that De Zerbi dropped Kolo Muani in Tottenham’s narrow win over Everton in the final Premier League game of the season, ending a run of six consecutive starts that would have rewarded the Italian for big money.

The era of Kolo Muani at Tottenham is over and by signing Savinho, ENIC will add the speed and power needed to steer the club in the right direction and end the dire situation that has plagued the club over the past few years.
