The penultimate signature event on the PGA Tour’s schedule begins Thursday with the 2026 Memorial Tournament. Scottie Scheffler is a two-time defending champion and leads a star-studded field that includes Ludwig Aberg, Jordan Spieth, Matt Fitzpatrick and Justin Thomas. Muirfield Village Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio will host the Memorial Tournament 2026, which for many will be the final preparation for the U.S. Open.

Scheffler, who is trying to become the first golfer to win three games in a single event since Steve Stricker in 2011, is a +300 favorite. Rory McIlroy will be teeing off for the first time since finishing seventh in the PGA Tournament, with odds of +1000 for the Memorial Tournament. Other candidates include Cameron Young (+1600), Xander Schauffele (+1800) and Ben Griffin (+3000), who was Scheffler’s runner-up last year. Before finalizing your 2026 Memorial Tournament selection, PGA DFS selection, or One and Done selection, be sure to check out the 2026 Memorial Tournament predictions and projected leaderboards from SportsLine’s proven computer models.

SportsLine’s proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, simulated every event on the PGA Tour 10,000 times and found: golf gambling A pick with a history of being very profitable.

This same model was successful at a whopping 17 majors entering the weekend, including the 2026 Masters, which will be the fifth consecutive Masters, and last year’s PGA Championship and British Open Championship. With the field set for the 2026 Memorial Tournament, the model simulated the tournament 10,000 times, and the results were surprising. Visit SportsLine now to see the predicted leaderboards. This can be used for PGA picks, One and Done contests, or PGA DFS lineups.

2026 Memorial Tournament Predictions

One of the big surprises the model is calling for the 2026 Memorial Tournament is the decline of Cameron Young (+1600), despite being the only two golfers with lower odds. According to the model, she sometimes stumbles and falls on her way to making it to the top five. Young’s seven-year streak of top 25 finishes ended at the PGA Championship, and he will be teeing off for the first time since the tournament three weeks ago. He hasn’t finished in the top 20 of the leaderboard in four games, so considering his history, the Memorial isn’t the best tournament to welcome him back. He has only broken par once in the last 12 rounds at Muirfield Village and is someone to avoid in Memorial bets given he has the third-shortest PGA odds. See who else will be fading out here.

Another surprise is that despite the +3000 longshot, this model ranks above Russell Henry. Henry is fresh off Sunday’s sixth PGA win with a playoff victory over Eric Cole at the Charles Schwab Challenge. He has three other top-10 finishes this season, including the Masters, and Cole impressed in his last visit to Muirfield. His unparalleled accuracy off the tee is perfect for this course, and he finished fifth in this tournament in 2025. Muirfield is the fourth-longest course on the PGA Tour schedule, and Henry leads the tour in driving accuracy percentage. So with the long fairways that Muirfield offers, Henry can always count on being in prime position for his second shot. Find out who else to choose here.
