Arsenal are considering signing Juventus attacker Kenan Yildiz in the summer window.
According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Arsenal have made an offer for the 21-year-old Turkish attacker and are considering making use of him after the Italian club failed to qualify for the next UEFA Champions League.
Juventus are under pressure to make ends meet and could sell some players this summer. However, the 21-year-old Turkish star is an integral part of the Italian club. According to the report, Juventus could demand more than 100 million euros for Yildiz.
It will be interesting to see whether Arsenal respond to their investigation and make a formal offer and conclude a contract. Yildiz could be a huge upgrade over players like Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli. He can also play a central role in the attacking midfield and will bring goals and creativity to the team.
The Turkish attacker scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists last season and has all the attributes to develop into a future superstar. Arsenal could develop him into a key player for the club. They have been successful in developing young players and joining them could bring out the best in the 21-year-old.
He has proven his quality in Italy and the opportunity to play in the Premier League could be exciting for the young attacker.
However, Juventus will not make it easy for him to leave. Arsenal will need to shell out big bucks to make the deal happen. His contract with the Italian club runs until 2030 and Juventus are under no pressure to sanction his departure.
