Cristo Inao Ulay has been linked with a move from Turkish side Trabzonspor, with Chelsea showing interest in signing him.

According to a report from SportsBoom, the 20-year-old is also a target for Premier League side Chelsea. The player is valued at €50 million and it will be interesting to see whether Chelsea or Barcelona are ready to make a move for the midfielder.

Ulai is a talented and promising player who could develop into a key player for either Chelsea or Barcelona. There is no doubt that he can justify the investment in the long term. However, the current asking price is quite unreasonable. The Ivorian international has not been able to consistently prove that he is at the highest level. Trabzonspor will need to make reasonable demands to make the transfer happen.

Chelsea need more physicality and control in the center of the park and the 20-year-old could be a solid signing. He is a deep playmaker who controls the tempo of the game and also provides defensive support.

Similarly, Barcelona could use more depth in midfield. They will be aiming for the Champions League trophy this season and they will have a better squad to help them.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are unable to secure a spot in European football for next season and need to bridge the gap if they are to bounce back strongly. Signing the 20-year-old midfielder could be a solid long-term investment for them. If he can be properly cared for over the next few seasons, he could develop into a star for them.
