Tottenham have made Martin Dubravka their fourth signing of the summer, paving the way for Antonin Kinski to become their first-choice goalkeeper.

Experienced former Newcastle and Manchester United stopper Dubravka has agreed to join Spurs on a free transfer after leaving Burnley at the end of the 2025-26 season.

The decision to rely on Dubravka rather than go after a high-profile keeper is the latest show of faith in Kinski, who has bounced back from a nightmare performance against Atletico Madrid in March to become a key player in Tottenham’s success in the relegation battle.

Italian goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is expected to leave Spurs this summer, leaving Kinski as number one, with 37-year-old Dubravka following him for support and competition.

“It’s an exciting time for me, a new journey and new experiences for me and my family. I’m looking forward to it,” Dubravka said.

“Everything went very quickly and I’m really happy to be here.

“I have loved watching coach Roberto (de Zerbi)’s teams over the years and am familiar with his style, vision and the great fans here.

“Tottenham are one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League and I can’t wait to meet everyone and get started.”

Tottenham fans, what do you think of the club’s performance so far this summer? Let us know in the comments below.

Dubravka is on loan at Manchester United as a back-up keeper for the 2022-23 season and will likely feature for Tottenham in the domestic cup.

The Slovakia international, who excels with the ball at his feet, joined De Zerbi’s revolution at Spurs this summer, following in the footsteps of Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Jan Paul van Hecke.

The coach said, “Martin is a goalkeeper with a wealth of experience and strong mental strength, so I’m very happy.”

“He has very important qualities for me and will bring balance, leadership and competitiveness to our dressing room.”

However, with another deal completed, Tottenham are yet to strengthen their midfield, which will be De Zerbi’s main focus this summer.

The biggest story of this window so far has been the interest in Sandro Tonali, with both clubs involved in this deal appearing to take a hit on their midfield shortlists.

Midfielder rejects Premier League move

Inter Milan midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic has rejected a move to England, according to Sky Italia journalist Matteo Barzaghi.

We reported in January that Newcastle were eyeing the midfielder, but interest has increased again since this summer, with Barzaghi claiming he has also received offers from both Spurs and Brentford.

The 20-year-old, who spent the season with Club Brugge in Belgium, is “determined” to succeed at Inter after the club activated a €23 million option to bring him back to Italy.

“He turned down Brentford and I would also include Tottenham. He is absolutely determined to stay at Inter. Then there are the different dynamics in the transfer market, but Inter want a player who is absolutely determined to stay.”

The defensive midfielder played 10 times in the Champions League for Brugge last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists, ranking third on the team with 2.9 tackles and interceptions per game, and reaching the knockout stages before being sent home to Atletico Madrid.

Tottenham and Newcastle will have to look elsewhere to strengthen their midfield, and it could be a double blow if the Magpies miss out on Stankovic, which would increase Spurs’ interest in Tonali.

The Spurs have always been the busiest team on the market, and they show no signs of slowing down.
