Federico Chiesa told him to leave
According to Football Insider, he has been informed that he will need to find a new club. It remains to be seen when he will finish. He has recently been associated with a return to his homeland.
Chiesa played just 318 minutes for the first team in the Premier League last season. He is a quality player and deserves more chances. Despite limited playing time, he scored three goals and provided three assists in all competitions for Liverpool last season.
The 28-year-old needs to play every week, so he needs to find a club that can provide him with the platform he needs. He was praised by coach Virgil van Dijk as “fantastic”. There is no doubt that he can sign a quality contract with the right team.

What’s next for Chiesa?
There are many clubs who would like to sign the player, but it remains to be seen how he will end up. He will cost around £10-15m. The asking price seems reasonable for a player of his quality, but it will be interesting to see if any club comes forward and offers him a route out.
Liverpool signed Víctor Muñoz from Osasuna in the summer transfer window, but they could fall further down the table if the Italian stays at the club. They are also looking to sign Yann Diomande. It would make sense for the Italian to decide on his future early and focus on his football.
