Manchester United keen to sign Sander Berge
Following Casemiro’s departure, they are looking to sign three midfielders this summer, having already signed Andrej Santos and Youri Tielemans. The Fulham star could become Manchester United’s third midfield addition this summer.
They can afford to pay £40m and convincing players won’t be difficult. It would be a big step up in the midfielder’s career and Berge is likely to be attracted to the idea of joining Manchester United.
Fulham have a competitive squad, but the 28-year-old is definitely ahead of them. He should aim for a move to a big club and Manchester United could offer him Champions League football and a chance to fight for trophies.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United will make a formal offer to sign the player following this contact. They wanted to sign Berge before he joined Fulham.

Berge could consider a big move
Berge is at the peak of his career and the time is right for him to join a top club where he can realize his ambitions. This move could be ideal for all parties.
Manchester United are also keeping an eye on other midfielders, including AS Roma’s Manu Kone. However, the France international is likely to be a more expensive option.
