After securing his first podium finish at Snetterton in 2025, Tommy Bridewell aims to build on this positive momentum at Knockhill this weekend (July 4-6).

The beginning of the season presented challenges for Bridewell during the initial two rounds at Alton Park and Donington, with his top result being a sixth-place finish in the season opener. However, the Snetterton BSB event marked progress as he achieved podium positions in both Race 1 and Race 2, showing improvement for the 2024 runner-up.

Bridewell noted a better grasp of the CBR1000RR-R bike, stating, “The final round at Snetterton was much stronger for me, and I made significant progress in understanding the bike.” He acknowledged there were still areas needing improvement and promised to continue working hard to close the gap with the leading riders.

Looking ahead to Knockhill, Bridewell was cautious about the weather, mentioning the unpredictable conditions like last year. He recalled, “It was dry last Saturday when I won and pulled away, but Sunday’s races were wet and challenging.”

Discussing the Knockhill circuit, the 2023 BSB champion described it as “very tricky,” highlighting that finding the perfect pace through corners is difficult due to varying speeds in different sections. He commented on the 1.3-mile track, “It’s all about connecting the laps smoothly and balancing every part.” Despite the challenges, Bridewell welcomed the support from Scottish fans, appreciating the strong following BSB enjoys across the country.

Fan Take: Tommy Bridewell’s recent performances signal a promising surge in his competitiveness, which adds excitement for fans eager to see new contenders rise. His progress and the unpredictable Knockhill race conditions could lead to thrilling outcomes that keep the BSB championship fiercely contested.
