Scottish Open has become an important event in the golf schedule since it began to serve as a partner tournament between the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour. This allowed the best players from both tours to come together and have the opportunity to play Link Golf in preparation for the Open Championship a week later. And while many fans are focusing on opening up next week’s British version, the Scots are an incredible tournament in itself.

The biggest names of the PGA Tour are on the Renaissance Club, with Scotty Schaeffler, Lori McIlroy, Zander Schaufele, Rudy Guberg and Colin Morikawa coming into the weekend. Chris Gotterup holds a 36-hole lead, but his advantage is not comfortable given the heavy hitter within the top 15 on the leaderboard. Some have focused on tweaking the Royal Portrush, the final major of the season, but they’re running out of time to win a big win in the 2025 campaign.

The Scotland opening is also a great warm-up for US golf fans as it offers the opportunity to prepare for an open viewing schedule that requires extra coffee during early morning golf hours. Tournament days will end at around 3pm.

Here’s how you can keep up with all the action that has crossed the pond this weekend:
