  • Howe offers new ISAK updates
  • Newcastle’s eyes move towards Newcastle city defender Nathan Ake

Newcastle United is believed to be in the mix to sign “incredible” players this summer as they are about to hijack Everton’s move.

Howe offers new ISAK updates

Magpies are preparing to host Liverpool in the Premier League on Monday night. St. James’ parks could be in the best vibe of Alexander Isaac Saga.

Eddie Howe also responded to his statement earlier this week that he was disappointed with Newcastle after confirming that the Swedes would not be involved in a lawsuit against the club they wanted to sign him on this summer.

“It was a sad moment. My preference is that these things don’t happen publicly. They’re dealing better behind closed doors. But the needs are necessary. The club is talking.

“It does that in every situation. He’s signed with us. He’s our player. My wish is that he plays on Monday. He’s not. That’s a shame.

Away from the ISAK situation, Newcastle is working hard on possible new signatures on both ends of the pitch, and they are reportedly fighting others for the signatures of Premier League players.

Newcastle’s eyes move towards Newcastle city defender Nathan Ake

According to TeamTalkNewcastle could hijack Everton’s move to Manchester City defender Nathan Ake this summer. Everton has already been in discussion, and the Magpie is just “supervising” the Dutch, but since he is represented by the same institutions as several Newcastle stars, including Lewis Hall and Harvey Burns, there may be a smooth path to personal negotiations.

Ake could be a great addition for Newcastle, bringing his wealth of experience. The 30-year-old can thrive at both center-back and left-back. Howe has shown appreciation for Dan Byrne’s use, and Pep Guardiola spoke enthusiastically about him during last season.

“Nathan put incredible effort. I appreciate the effort he made. He needs a little more, but he worked hard on the situation we have. If you feel tired, let us know.”

In a way, it seems strange that City is willing to sell the many players they still offer, but if Guardiola no longer considers him a crucial part of his plan, Newcastle should hit.

The temptation to move to St. James, including playing in the Champions League, appeals to Ake more than he eventually joins Everton, despite the Blues starting a new era at the impressive Hill Dickinson Stadium this season.

At £160,000 a week, Ake is a class act that proved himself to the highest level, and there’s no reason he couldn’t enjoy three or four years at Newcastle at age 30.
