The Glasgow Rangers officially confirmed that Yousef Cermity has arrived at Ibrox on a permanent deal to bolster Russell Martin’s choice at the top of the pitch.
The transfer of Ciriel Deserz to Panathinaikos, which the Team Rangers defeated in Champions League qualifying earlier this season, has also been officially confirmed by the Scottish Premiership Giants.
Cermity joined Bojang Mioffski to arrive at Ibrox to improve manager options in the final third than the rest of the first half of the 2025/26 campaign.
Ranger pursuing a new winger
The two strikers may not be the only forwards to arrive in Glasgow, as the club is looking at another attacker.
According to Rangersreview, the Glasgow Rangers remain interested in Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi heading towards the final hours of the window.
The report notes that, following the announcements of Dessers and Cermithi, it is continuing to pursue the forward English language as part of the deadline ahead of the deadline.
This means that GERS is trying to enhance the attack by adding more before the windows close.
Why should rangers sign Rak-Sakyi?
Kevin Thelwell will have to push to make this slow deal in the coming hours as the club’s new Vaclav Cerny will allow Martin to add another profile to what he currently has at his disposal in the last third.
Boring draw with Celtic on Sunday highlighted the ranger’s lack of diversity. Because he was forced to play on the right field and couldn’t do much, but forced to go back to his right foot when he couldn’t bring Kieran Tierney outwards.
Last season, Cerny offered something different as a left footed forward on the offense, scoring and creating team goals, finishing the campaign with 12 goals and four assists per sofa score.

As you can see in the table above, Raksakiy provided the threat as both a goal scorer and a goal creator on loan at Sheffield United, but his creativity was not rewarded by the assist he deserves.
Saying “terrifying” advance by U23 scout Antonio Mango, the 22-year-old star scored seven goals in the 22-league start for Blade, providing two assists, previously scoring 15 goals and assisting eight goals in the start of Charlton’s 40-League 1.
Like Celny, he is a left-footed right winger who is about to cut to bring about a constant threat in the final third, and his performance in the UK suggests that he can bring a lot of quality to Ibrox.
With Cerny being with Wolfsburg, Rak-Sakyi could also be another loan signing, which had a major impact in Glasgow in a short period of time.
