Tottenham Hotspur are keeping an eye on AS Trencin winger Sani Suleiman.

The 19-year-old is highly rated across Europe and could be a good long-term investment for the north London club. It’s no secret that they need more quality in the side.

Chelsea have made inquiries about signing Suleiman in recent months.

Spurs could use Sani Suleiman

They need players who can play against defenders and beat them in one-on-one situations. Tottenham lack unpredictability in the final third. Suleiman has performed very well for the Slovakia national team and has attracted the attention of several clubs across Europe. The young attacker has performed extremely well this season, with no teenager outside of Europe’s top five leagues scoring more progressive ball carries per 90 minutes. If Tottenham are able to secure a deal, he could add a new dimension to Tottenham’s attack.

According to Ben Jacobs, the Slovakian team paid a transfer fee of 6 million euros for the attacker. Tottenham certainly have the financial wherewithal to make a deal, and Suleiman could prove to be a good long-term investment.

Suleiman could be a resource

At 19 years old he is very young and will improve with coaching and experience. An investment of 6 million euros could turn out to be a great bargain in the future.

The opportunity to move to the Premier League is attractive for the young attacker and he will certainly hope that Tottenham make an acceptable offer to sign him. Playing regular football in England will allow him to develop further and accelerate his development.

If Tottenham are to seriously fight for big trophies, they need to improve the quality of their attacking team. We need more creativity and decisiveness in the final third. Along with Suleiman, they should also aim to acquire a reliable finisher.
