Former Manchester United player Ricardo has made it clear that the club should try to sign up for young elite talents like Ramin Yamal.

Manchester United have been having a disastrous season, and they are 16th in the league table. They lost the UEFA Europa League Final to Tottenham Hotspur last night. They will not compete in European football next season, and the league campaign is already one of the worst campaigns in their history.

They need quality signatures to bounce back next season, and Ricardo believes players like Yamal can make a big difference.

Liverpool and Manchester City have been linked to Yamal for the past few weeks.

Ricardo said: “That’s difficult, but I’ll sign Raminyarmal lol. But I can’t believe that his team needs every year, not just because of the goal he scores, but also because of the way he manages the game. You need to believe it.”

When Yamal won the Barondoor in the future, he added: “Well…it’s a possibility, it’s very specific. He’s a very intelligent player with very sophisticated techniques, physique, speed and ball handling. And he’s a way to read the game and position himself tactically.

Ramin Yamal was world class

The 17-year-old was a world-class performer for Barcelona with 18 goals this season. He earned 25 assists along the way. While he has no doubt all the qualifications to develop into a superstar, signing him is a near-impossible job for any club.

Barcelona doesn’t want to give it a break from its respected assets. Also, 17-year-olds have no reason to force an exit. And without Champions League football, Manchester United would not have a chance to land a world-class player like him.

There is no doubt that he can make a great improvement over Manchester United. They lack quality wingers like him, creating opportunities to achieve their goals from nothing, allowing them to achieve their goals consistently.

It will be interesting to see if Manchester United will plug in the team gaps during the summer transfer period and return strongly next season. Their height clubs are expected to regularly promote the trophies, and have not been able to do so this season.
