  • Grabenberg ‘proud’ to sign new contract with Liverpool
        • Anfield stalwart Adam Wharton could end Curtis Jones’ Liverpool career
  • Liverpool dispatch officials to acquire Acurioche

Liverpool have sent officials this summer in a race to sign the attacking star alongside Premier League rivals Manchester United.

Grabenberg ‘proud’ to sign new contract with Liverpool

There was no desperate bid to extend Ryan Gravenbirch’s contract like there was with Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah. This time, Liverpool ended things before panic set in and the Dutchman put pen to paper on a new and improved contract until 2032.

Delighted with his new contract, Gravenbirch said: “I feel really, really good. I was really proud to extend my contract at such a big club, so I’m really happy to be able to stay for many more years,” Grabenberch told the club’s official website.

“I felt the trust from the club and the coach firsthand. The decision was easy for me. My family is happy here too. I’ve been here for almost three years, so I already know everything. I’m happy to be here.”

Anfield stalwart Adam Wharton could end Curtis Jones’ Liverpool career

Liverpool have an academy star who could end Curtis Jones’ career at the club as Liverpool’s own Adam Wharton.

There was a time when it looked like the midfielder was destined to leave at Anfield, until the arrival of Arne Slott saw him transform into the No. 6 role.

Now a Premier League winner, Graven Birch will set his sights on returning the Reds to the top of English football after a difficult season this season.

Meanwhile, Liverpool could turn their focus back to the transfer market. In that regard, names like Antony Robinson threaten to dominate the headlines.

The Fulham player replaces Andy Robertson, who is out of contract at the end of the season and is set to leave as a free agent.

What’s more, Anfield officials could also welcome important additions to an attacking line-up that has run out of ideas far too quickly over the past six months.

Liverpool dispatch officials to acquire Acurioche

TeamTalk reports that Liverpool officials have flown in to take part in the race to sign Magness Akrioche and are keeping an eye on the AS Monaco attacker’s moves to put Paris Saint-Germain to the sword.

The Reds are looking to sign a rising star in Europe and could be one step ahead of rivals Man United, who are also keeping a close eye on the Frenchman.

If there were any doubts about Akurioche’s performance against Europe’s best teams, his performance against European champions PSG last weekend should put those doubts to rest.

The right winger scored the opening goal in the 27th minute and Monaco never looked back, eventually clinching a 3-1 win in Ligue 1.

It was a great performance and one the 24-year-old is ready to repeat in the Premier League. Scouts from both Liverpool and Manchester United were in attendance at Monaco’s victory and had the chance to witness Akurios’s show.

The winger, who was described as “excellent” by Como scout Ben Mattinson, could make a big splash in the summer if both clubs call him up.
