The Martin County Sheriff’s Office told WPTV that legendary golfer Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident in Florida on Friday.

An overturned vehicle was seen at the scene of the crash on Jupiter Island on Florida’s east coast.
Woods has been involved in high-profile car accidents in the past, from his infamous crash with a tree near his home in 2009 to a serious crash in 2021 that left him with serious injuries.

12:30pm: According to a full police report obtained by TMZ, Woods was reportedly “sweating profusely” despite the air conditioning running in the car. When Woods removed his sunglasses during the investigation, his eyes appeared “bloodshot and glassy” and his pupils were “extremely dilated.” Police also asked Woods if he was taking any medication, at which point Woods said he was taking “a little bit.”
9:30am: TMZ reports that Woods claims he was taking two hydrocodone pills and was distracted by his cell phone and radio at the time of the accident.

12:20pm: The New York Post reported that Woods was “driving like a bat out of hell” as he left his Florida enclave on Friday afternoon. Woods has a reputation for being a reckless driver, the Daily Mail reported.
“The man is a terrible driver… frequently drives like a bat out of hell down roads where lawn services are parked with heavy equipment,” a former employee of the golf icon told the Daily Mail.
12pm: Photos of Woods returning to his luxurious mansion were released on Saturday, 12 hours after he was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

3:45pm: Witnesses told TMZ Sports it appears two cars were involved in the collision. No one appeared to be seriously injured, and TMZ Sports reported that Woods appeared “okay” at the scene.
3:40pm: Martin County Fire Rescue officials told CBS 12 that one person is stable, but the other person refused to go to the hospital after the accident. Marin County Fire Rescue said no injuries were reported in the wreck.

The pickup truck driver noticed Woods’ Range Rover traveling at a high rate of speed and attempted to swerve onto the shoulder of the road.
