Moises Caicedo: “My dream is to become a Chelsea legend”
After putting pen to paper, Caicedo expressed his deep commitment to the west London project on the club’s official website.
Despite the team currently sitting sixth in the Premier League and going through a period of transition, the midfielder insisted he would not want to be anywhere else.
he said:
“I’m very happy to extend my contract with Chelsea. I believe in this team, this club and I know we’re moving in the right direction. We’re only just getting started together.”
“There is still a lot to achieve. I am very hungry to keep improving every day. I want to win more trophies with Chelsea and give everything for this club and the fans.”
“We have already enjoyed great times together. My dream is to become a Chelsea legend and I will do everything I can to make that happen.”
Caicedo was a great signing for Chelsea
Since his record-breaking move from Brighton in 2023, Caicedo has developed into one of the most complete defensive midfielders in world football.

The contract extension is also a big boost for Chelsea as they fend off interest from Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants reportedly had Caicedo at the top of their summer wishlist, along with Alexis Mac Allister.
By securing his future for the next seven years, Chelsea have ensured that their midfield engine room continues to be supplied by one of the game’s elite talents into the prime of his career.
