Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has admitted the Blues remain a big part of his life, but has distanced himself from leaving his current role as Coventry City manager.
Lampard has just led Coventry to promotion to the Premier League, so one would imagine he wants to stay in the job and continue the good work he has done so far.

But at the same time, there is a vacancy at Chelsea following the sacking of manager Liam Rosenior this week, and Lampard could be one of them.
Lampard previously managed Chelsea, briefly returning as caretaker manager, but has appeared to have improved significantly since taking over at Coventry.
Frank Lampard talks about Chelsea manager’s links
Lampard hasn’t completely ruled out a return to Stamford Bridge, but his words on Fabrizio Romano’s X-page suggest he remains committed to Coventry for the time being…
“Chelsea are a big part of my life and at the moment it’s their business and my business is here,” Lampard said.
“I’d like to think Coventry fans are enjoying where we are, in the management world, where so many things are out of your control and you just control your job.

“I think at the moment we should just enjoy where we are. We’ve had a great season and I’m really proud and happy to be a part of it. We’re enjoying what we’re doing here. We can’t control who’s worried or not.”
Who should be Chelsea’s next manager?
Chelsea need to appoint a new manager soon after a difficult few years under their current owners.
CFC parted ways with manager Rosenior this week, having only been with the club for three months since Enzo Maresca also resigned earlier this season.
Prior to that, Mauricio Pochettino and Graham Potter were also two big names who failed to get the job at Chelsea under Todd Boley and Behada Egbali.
The west London giants arguably need a player with more top-level experience than Lampard, but convincing some of the game’s biggest names to join under these conditions may be difficult.
