Rafael Leao is attracting attention from top clubs, with the buzz surrounding his future at AC Milan growing louder by the week.

The Portuguese winger’s contract still runs until 2028 and comes with a huge release clause of €175 million, but in the current market that figure is no longer realistic.

AC Milan may publicly want to keep him, but sources close to the agent industry say they are now more open to creative offers than before. catch off side.

Leand’s contract extension for 2023 included a clause of 175 million euros, but sources increasingly suggest that Milan will negotiate for far less than that figure if they receive a suitable offer.

Manchester United interested in Portugal star

Manchester United is one of the clubs I have the strongest connections with.

United are considering cash deals for players and could offer lower fees to players such as Marcus Rashford, Joshua Zirkzee and Manuel Ugarte.

Leon is exactly the kind of player that excites big clubs. He is fast on the ball, powerful, stylish and can do things that most wide forwards cannot.

With confidence, he can carry the ball from deep, single-handedly beat defenders and completely change the atmosphere of the game.

That’s why the names of Man United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are mentioned at different times.

United’s interest is particularly interesting as they need another burst of attack.

Their up front has had its moments, but there’s still a feeling they’re missing a truly dominant left-sided threat to terrorize defenders on a weekly basis. Leon will bring it.

He’s not a safe, proper winger. He is unpredictable and United could use that more.

The problem is price and structure. Milan may not be able to come close to a €175m release clause, but they will still want a serious package.

The Red Devils could make a lucrative contract offer to the player.

Milan could start negotiations for around 50 million euros if a strong player is included. Rashford, Zirksee and Ugarte could be involved there.

Across Europe, Real Madrid and PSG have also been linked, as both clubs are always on the lookout for a player like Leo to become available.

Bayern Munich have also admired him in the past, but previous reports suggested that they were unable to do so financially.

It would not be surprising to see Barcelona’s name mentioned through an intermediary, but unless Milan are very flexible, their financial deal will be complicated.
