Background: Romano has just posted on X that PSG are likely to make a move for the Monaco attacking midfielder and are working behind the scenes to win the race for his signature.
It comes as questions remain over Bradley Barcola’s future at PSG, while the Ligue 1 giants are also linked with a move for RB Leipzig winger and Liverpool target Yann Diomande.
See Romano’s post below about PSG’s pursuit of Acurioche. While his arrival may certainly mean there’s no room for Barcola and they’re more likely to let him go free, it also probably means Diomande won’t be able to fit in…
It remains to be seen exactly how Acrios will fit in at the Parc des Princes, but he can play widely and given Luis Enrique’s tactics and options in central positions, perhaps that kind of role seems most likely for him.

Will this be good news for Liverpool and Arsenal?
We’ll have to wait and see, but the early signs are pretty promising as PSG seem to be prioritizing Acrios over Diomande.
This follows Media Foot reporting in recent days that LFC appear to be ahead of PSG in being candidates to sign Diomand, and this could be a result of that development.
This obviously doesn’t mean that a deal for Diomande with Liverpool is 100% certain, but it does make it a little easier for the Reds to land the talented young Ivorian international without having to worry about super-rich clubs outbidding them.
As for Arsenal, we know that Bradley Barcola is a target this summer, and the addition of an attacking player like Akurioche could prepare them to replace Barcola.
The France international is an exciting talent, but has already been in and out of Enrique’s starting XI, so this could indicate he is not in the club’s long-term plans.
