Barcelona are reportedly eyeing Liverpool striker Alexander Isak as they look for a replacement for Harry Kane up front.
Barça need a top player to replace Robert Lewandowski as their main attacking player, but signing Kane, who is likely to stay at Bayern Munich, seems unrealistic.
The Catalan giants now appear interested in taking a chance on Isak, despite a poor start to his career so far at Liverpool.

The Sweden international has had an injury-plagued debut season since his record-breaking move from Newcastle United to England, scoring just four goals in 22 appearances.
Alexander Isak could revive his career at Barcelona
Isak looked like a world-class performer at Newcastle, scoring 62 goals in 109 games for the Magpies and terrorizing Premier League defenders on a weekly basis.
Even if things don’t work out for Liverpool, fans will be considering how to buy World Cup tickets for England vs. Democratic Republic of the Congo. They will know very well how much of a threat he can be because he did the same thing to their club at one point.

Perhaps Isak needs to seriously consider leaving Liverpool, as he is not the only player to have struggled at Anfield recently.
Florian Wirtz, Jeremy Frimpong and Milos Kerkes also struggled after making big-money moves to LFC last summer, while it’s perhaps telling enough that big names like Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ibrahima Konate have all opted to leave on free transfers.
Isak might be a better fit for Barcelona. At Barcelona, he could become a mainstay in the attacking-minded team that has dominated La Liga in recent years under the guidance of an experienced and world-class manager like Hansi Flick.
If fitness continues to be an issue for the 26-year-old, then a move from English football to Spain’s top flight, as stars like Robert Lewandowski and Luka Modric have been able to do recently, could be a good way to jump-start his career and potentially extend his playing career.
