Lucas Glover’s eagle on the second hole at TPC Dear Run on Saturday had something special about it.
Unfortunately for Glover, Lee Hodges moved into the lead with a bogey-free back nine, the biggest distance between himself and the rest of the John Deere Classic field on a competitive moving day.

Jackson Suber, Ben Coles and Zach Blair are T-3, all one stroke behind the lead.
Doug Ghim became the 10th player in PGA Tour history since 1983 to hit all 18 fairways and all 18 greens on Saturday at Silvis, Illinois. Ghim shot a bogey-free 65 and moved up five spots on the leaderboard to sit alone in sixth place with 18 holes remaining.
Behind him is veteran Zach Johnson, who sank a big birdie putt on the 18th to take a three-stroke lead over Glover and Hodges.
This is a developing story.
