It is highly unlikely that Bayern Munich would sign a player like Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior, as there are issues with his personality and the club’s culture.
That is the view of Christian Falk, who has played down rumors of Vinicius joining Bayern either this summer or at some point in the future.
In his column for CF Bayern Insider, Falk explained that while the Brazil international is a top player who is more than qualified to play for Bayern, there are several reasons why a move seems unlikely.

One reason is that Vincent Kompany already has great attacking options as things stand, leaving little room for Vinicius, but club culture also seems to be a big factor.
Vinicius Junior = not good enough team player for Bayern Munich
It’s fun to watch Vini Junior play, but the way he carries himself can sometimes seem a bit like Cristiano Ronaldo, which may not be to everyone’s taste.
Of course there are plenty of great players who are justified in having a bit of an ego, but that doesn’t suit every team and it doesn’t really seem like Bayern’s way of doing things.
“Of course, a player like the 26-year-old would look very good in the Bayern Munich team, but there is no chance!” Falk wrote.

“Bayern will not pay the wages and they already have a complete attack with Harry Kane, Michael Olise, Luis Diaz, Jamal Musiala and now Ismael Saibari. Dias certainly did very well at the World Cup, so with all due respect there is no place for a player like Vini Junior.”
“It must also be said that Bayern Munich are always a little wary of players who can have a negative impact on the atmosphere in the dressing room. This was also the case with Cristiano Ronaldo. It’s not just the huge wages that we have to worry about, but also the impact on the team culture.”
“Bayern, for example, is the right team for Harry Kane. The English player is a team player at heart and this is the focus of Bayern Munich.”
Is Bavarian philosophy correct?
Bayern are a hugely successful club and would argue that there is no need to change their philosophy, even if it means missing out on the world’s best footballers from time to time.
At the same time, they are not Real Madrid, so perhaps gambling with an occasionally difficult character could be a bold move that could bring them a few more Champions League titles along with Bundesliga dominance.
Perhaps it’s simply a matter of different clubs having different needs, and players like Vinicius and Ronaldo will always suit the Bernabéu.
Either way, for now, this seems like one of those transfer rumors we can forget about, but it simply hasn’t happened.
