Despite being just 23 years old, Jack Draper enters Wimbledon as a real contender with three career ATP titles under his belt and a deep run under his belt at last year’s US Open.

There’s everything you need to know about him this summer’s championship.

Draper’s first match

Draper retains the advantage of being the fourth largest in the world. That is, they avoided the biggest name during the opening stage of this year’s men’s singles championship.

He was drawn to face Sebastian Baez, the world No. 38. However, if the favourite wins, the draper could face a series of blockbuster clashes.

He’s on the course, not to mention the possibility of Carlos Alcaraz in the final to meet Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals and Janik Sinner in the semi-finals.

How to see

The match will be broadcast live on the BBC. ESPN provides live blogs as well as news and feature coverage.

Draper form entering Wimbledon

Draper competed only once in the grass in the semi-finals at Queens Club this year ahead of Wimbledon.

Queens reached the fourth round of the Australian and French Open this year, and was another impressive show of a great year for Draper, who won the Indian Wells and won his first ATP 1000 title.

He also slightly missed adding one second when he lost to Casperudo in the Madrid Open Finals.

Draper has been at Wimbledon three times in the last four years, and has not yet gone over two rounds, but his form suggests that this year could be different.
