On the eve of the U.S. Women’s Open, Golf Channel’s Brandel Chamblee asked Chung what her final challenge was to graduate. And you’ll never be able to guess her answer.

“My last project was a 15-page paper on beer brewing,” Chan said in the clip.

Beer brewing?! Yes, beer brewing. As it turned out, Zhang was interested in the topic. And there’s a lot more to it than we think.

“We had to do a whole project on how we were going to brew the beer,” the two-time LPGA Tour winner continued. “It was one of those lessons that was supposed to be easy, but then it turned into an archaeological dig on everything from microbes to everything else.”

Chumby suggests the “Rose’s Brew” brand, but “Brandel’s Brew” has a much better ring to it. In any case, Zhang is preparing for the U.S. Women’s Open this week, and will then attend Stanford University’s graduation ceremony later this month. Maybe she’ll provide drinks for the after-party.
