FSG didn’t lie when they said they were going to spend the summer big. Liverpool fans had to succumb to the summer transfer window, with the Anfield side surpassing the £200 million mark before reaching July.

The club’s fullback issue was resolved through the acquisition of Milos Kerkez and Jeremy Fripon. Sports director Richard Hughes oversaw the crushing of Liverpool’s transfer record by signing Florian Wiltz for £16 million plus add-ons.

Liverpool is not finished yet. Jarrell Kuansa’s summer sale to Bayer Lebakusen opens space for central defense, and while Crystal Palace’s Mark Guech is the center of an ongoing talk, many fans point to the front of the ship as an area in need of a brush-up.

Once Napoli signs the unconvincing Darwinnes, Hughes is expected to find a focal frontman to lead the line for Premier League champions from next season onwards.

What’s the latest in Hugo Ekitike?

Liverpool needs a striker and the man signed for dinner might turn out to be Hugo Ekitique of Aintrak Frankfurt.

The 23-year-old French forward is enjoying a year of extraordinary breakouts in Germany, blew analyst Ben Matinson “one of the best strikers out there” to him.

Liverpool has been preparing to bid for the forward for a while, but FSG is no surprise given Die Adler’s Starman’s £805m valuation.

This is much more affordable than Newcastle United’s Alexander Isaac. He managed to bring the successful suitor back to £200 million this summer, but it’s pretty expensive for a club that already branches out the bucket road of fresh talent.

So who are you going to? As the graphics above show, Ekitique is good, but he is not entirely and not as sophisticated as another transfer target that requires much more modest spending.

Liverpool will hold talks with Ekitike alternatives

According to offside, Liverpool is still racing for the sport’s CP sensation Viktor Gyoker.

In fact, the Reds are one of the opening aspects of dialogue with the sport, seeking information as Marksmen prepare to leave the club.

Arsenal and Manchester United appear to have an edge in the race, but if Liverpool raises the plot, Arne Slot could potentially secure a top-class marksman in 2025/26.

Gyoker will be available for a lower rate than his 100 million euro (£85 million) release clause, with the Liga Portuguese champion hoping to bank 80 million euros (£68 million) on the sale of No. 9.

What Viktor Gyoker brings to Liverpool

£68 million is a pretty big figure, but Gyoker’s performance over the past few years suggests that Liverpool will receive Bang for their spending.

After joining the Portuguese side from Coventry City in the Championship two years ago, the Swedish striker has grown into skin as one of Europe’s leading scorers, publishing 97 strikes in 102 matches for Leıes, supporting 28 goals.

The Portuguese top division is not at the best overall quality, but that doesn’t mean that Gyoker hasn’t proven his worth as he highlights the level of clinical shooting among the Yorker elite. In fact, the “fatal” advance has been described as “the best finisher in the world” by football statistician Spencer Mossman.

Ekitike has a high ceiling and is OK, but he is not a finished product yet. And as hard grafts make the space leap into the Premier League, when they were just beginning, it turns out that many new stars have not reached their potential.

2024/25 League Campaign, Gyoker for sport in Germany Gyoker for Ekitique in Frankfurt is looking at contrasting statistics in pairing that Liverpool might be going for more experienced men.

Like Ekitike, the 27-year-old is dynamic in his performances, dribbing frequently, getting stuck in duels, and providing creative support to his teammates, but he is also far more prolific and abundant when placed in the radius of scores.

Additionally, he ranked in the Champions League top 12% in the previous period, top 10% in shot-making action, and top 6% in progressive carry per 90 according to FBREF, highlighting his ability to do it at the biggest stage.

The action of creating a shot is a game that leads to a shot. These include moments like passing, take-on, fouls and more.

Of course, the dull illustration became his highlighted hat-trick against Manchester City, choosing the Pep Guardiola side last November.

Ultimately, Liverpool knows that they should be able to secure themselves at Nunes this summer. The Uruguayans only score seven times in slots throughout the season, but it’s important for FSG to choose the right guy.

Gyoker may not be the youngest on the block, but he still has years of reliable service before him, making sure to provide Liverpool with a reliable scoring presence.
