Chris Finch replaces Julius Randle with Timberwolves star Bill Simmons and says, “Three weeks is bad”…”

Chris Finch was frustrated with the way one of his Timberwolves starters played in Game 2.

The Minnesota Timber Wolves lost Game 2 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. They are currently 0-2 in the Western Conference Finals.

Fans believe the Thunder is almost guaranteed to reach the NBA Finals. Given how the Timberwolves played in these two games, it’s hard to argue against it.

It was a tough night for Julius Randle, who scored just six points in tonight’s game. His form in Game 1 was not carried over.

Coach Chris Finch chose to replace him with a less-performing Timberwolves star, and after the match he defended that choice.

Chris Finch spoke after the Minnesota Timberwolves lost Game 2. When the reporter asked why he replaced Julius Randle after scoring six points, he pointed out that he was trying something new.

Finch admitted to bringing in Naz Reed and trying to showcase new dynamics that may shake things up with their favor.

“I just wanted to spread the floor and see if I could get quick decisions. I’m just trying to change the colour of the game.”

Naz Reid wasn’t that good in that role, so he got off the bench to score 10 points and went 3-8 out of the field.

It’s clear that everything the Minnesota Timberwolves are doing isn’t working. So much, they are actively losing their heads in the second half of both games.

If the Timberwolves have the opportunity to make a comeback, they will need to make some changes. Anthony Edwards was great, but he has to get better.

Julius Randle, Naz Reed, Jaden McDaniels and Nickaire Alexander Walker must step up in a bigger way. What they’re doing now isn’t enough.

The Timberwolves have a talented roster. They might even be even better if Chris Finch adapts his game plan to explain Thunder’s strength.
