Over the summer, Leicester lost many players from the relegated Premier League team, but Wout Faes was a person who stayed. Efforts were made to leave at King Power Stadium in three years, but ultimately there was no agreement with Serie A-side Lazio.

Overall, things have gotten worse recently as FAES have been going through difficult times in Leicester and he came due to criticism of his position on the Belgian national team. On top of this, he has not yet started the match in the championship, and his only appearance in the lineup is the Carabao Cup defeat to Hudders Field.

FAES arrived in Leicester with many promises, but now he is heading towards the modest end of his era at the Championship Club.

Leicester wants 10 million euros to sell WOUT FAES to Lazio

WOUT FAES may leave Leicester in 2026.

According to Il ussaggero (via sports witness), Lazio tried to sign the FAES during the summer transfer period, but the transaction was unable to close. Nonetheless, they still plan to reach an agreement with Leicester in January that they want to do it.

According to the report, Leicester is ready to accept 10 million euros to remove FAES from the book. They want to break up with Belgian International, but it may be difficult to do so as Lazio will require them to take pay cuts so they can join when the transfer window resumes in January.

It is still unclear whether FAES will leave Leicester in January, but it appears he will not rely on Cifuentes. If the transaction gets hit faster than it is slow, it will probably be suitable for all parties involved.
