Arsenal’s pursuit of a second-choice goalkeeper to replace Neto and provide a sharp backup for David Raya has now ended with the looming arrival of Chelsea’s Alizabaraga, poised to join the gunners for just £5 million due to the contract’s release clause.

Meanwhile, Arsenal is also signing RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesco to wait a long time between Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg among trusted media outlets, with the “concrete talk” about the movement of the Slovenian movement.

But one man long thought to join Arsenal before any of these names comes in the form of real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.

Spanish International caused a huge stir when he denied reports that Arsenal was ready for medical science.

Sociedad President Jokin Aperribay issued a sacred statement suggesting that his move to Arsenal has not made much progress, but trustworthy media sources have since emerged to reassure supporters that Zubimendi’s signature is firmly on track.

David Ornstein shares Martin Zubimendi update from Arsenal

First, Romano reiterated earlier this week that Zvimendi’s Arsenal contract had been clearly agreed, but also refused to rule out the prospect of Real Madrid hijacking the deal in a later period.

But in an even more positive update, athlete David Ornstein poured cold water into the prospect of an actual dive despite reports from Spain.

Ornstein said Arsenal views Zubimendi’s move as “complete and signing,” while Bernabeu sources say Real has never actively pursued the “world-class” 26-year-old move.

In his detailed article for the Athletics, Ornstein adds that Sociedad hopes to fully ratify the transaction in July for accounting purposes, so they can record the sale of Zubimendi as part of the next fiscal year.

This can seriously explain the delays behind his announcement as an Arsenal player, so supporters seem to be able to sigh of even greater relief on the Sociedad Star’s looming arrival.
