Coco Gough only needed two sets to win Marie Boozkova in the third round of Saturday’s French Open. The American sense wiped out the opposition 6-1, 7-6, and advanced to the fourth round at Roland Garros.
Gauff established an early lead in the first set before Bouzková appears to be coming back from the deficit. Gauff eventually sealed his first contract and headed second in the lead.

Second, Bouzková went 2-0 with Gauff aiming to get back. Boozkova continued to go 3-1 after Gouf closed the lead 2-1. When it appeared that Gouf was about to drop her first set at the French Open this year, she climbed and tied up a 5-5 set.
The thrilling exchange ended in a dramatic way as World No. 2 succeeded in winning.
Gauff’s calm exhibition won his sixth straight set at Roland Garros. However, after defeating Olivia Gadiky in two 6-2 sets in the first round, it has proven to be the most challenging for her so far.

In the fourth round, Gov faces her first ranked opponent No. 20 Ekaterina Alexandrova from Russia. Like Goff, the 30-year-old has dominated victory over Lucia Bronzetti, Elisabetta Cocchialette and Veronica Kudermetova in the third set of the tournament.
Gauf and Alexandrova meet on June 2nd and will play in the quarter-final spot.
