Manchester City is currently holding talks with the £78 million Real Madrid “Superstar,” as Arsenal continues to work on its own move, according to a new report.

On Saturday, City announced that defender Kyle Walker would leave the club and join Burnley. England International has a two-year contract with Scott Parker, who played for Tottenham Hotspur. Walker spent the second half of last season on loan at AC Milan.

Pep Guardiola may be trying to win the next João Cancello by snapping this £60 million superstar from Manchester City.

As the 35-year-old moves out of the city, Bruce is now set to enter the market to find an alternative to him. Newcastle United’s Timo Librament has been linked to the move to Etihad for several months, and football insider Mick Brown believes City will accelerate its move to signing the Librament.

However, he is not their only option as City is in talks to sign Inter’s Denzel Dumfries. Dutch International has been a key player for the Serie A Giants for many seasons, but is expected to be available for just £21.5 million this summer due to the release clause on the contract next week.

Man City discusses to sign Rodrigo

Bruce is working on a contract with Dumfries, but they are also busy working on something else that could open up and blow the transfer market wide. According to TBR Football, Man City spoke with Rodrigo’s representative.

It appears that Rodrigo is planning to leave Real Madrid. He appears to be out of Xabi Alonso’s plan and is currently in discussions with City, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and others.

The news comes after Arsenal is not only leading the charges to sign Brazilian International at this transfer window, but is also reported to be ready to make an offer worth £78 million to bring him to the Emirates.

The 24-year-old, dubbed a “superstar” by his teammate Luka Modric, scored six goals and six assists in 30 LA La Liga games last season.

However, Rodrigo, who has been on a contract until 2028, appears to have made no impression with Alonso as Winger only played three games in the Club World Cup. If he arrives at Etihad, Pep Guardiola may consider him an upgrade to Jeremy Doc.
