To welcome a new centre-back following Jarrell Quanza’s departure, Liverpool reportedly has been offered a new opportunity to sign the Champions League-winning defender this summer.

The latest from Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak

After becoming the officially most successful club in British football history last season, Liverpool acts like a king who has finally just taken the throne. Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes waste no time before going to work. He quickly welcomed Jeremy Fripon, shocking Manchester City and Bayern Munich, winning the Florian Wiltz race in a record-breaking manner.

Since then, Milos Kerquez has arrived along with third-choice goalkeeper Freddie Woodman. However, Liverpool is not complete. The Reds are not about to give up the crown anytime soon. The arrival of the new No. 9 appears to be a priority. And like this summer, the people at Anfield don’t feel like settling down to anything other than the top target.

Liverpool felt ruthless and told Newcastle that if Door leaves Ajar for Alexander Isaac, they would break their second British transfer record and sign the Swedes for £120 million.

Meanwhile, if the Magpies leave the door closed, the Reds hijack their move to sign Hugo Ekitike instead. The Fresh Report claims Newcastle dropped out of the race to sign the Frenchman, allowing the Reds to move forward towards his signature.

Liverpool will also contact the “surprising” striker who scored more than Ekitique

The Reds know everything about his quality.

This is an ongoing saga and will definitely continue to put in a lot of twists, but even after welcoming the required No. 9, Liverpool was able to do an unfinished business this summer.

Liverpool provided the opportunity to sign Belardo

Away from his striker issues, Arne Slot could use another centre-back following the exit of Quansah, and while Marc Guehi was the name mostly mentioned this summer, the people at Anfield were reportedly offered a fresh alternative.

According to Bootroom’s Graeme Bailey, Liverpool was offered the opportunity to sign Lucas Belardo by Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The defender often found himself behind Willian Pacho in last season’s pecking order, and the French champion opened the door to his exit.

Previously called “Superb” by Scout Jacek Kulig, Beraldo is a good option this summer, especially for replacing Quansahs at a reasonable price. The PSG man, who is only 20 years old and is still in the 20-year-old Champions League winner, has ownership of the England U21 International and may even upgrade into the air.

However, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool will have the opportunity to sign the Brazilians. The potential move could depend on whether Guehi can be signed this summer.
