The Philadelphia Eagles showcased their Super Bowl Ricks Ring during the team’s ring ceremony on Friday night. The ring features the Philadelphia logo atop a Super Bowl trophy symbolizing their two championship wins: Super Bowl LII (2017 season) and Super Bowl LIX (2024 season). One side of the ring displays Lincoln Financial Field, the Eagles’ home stadium, along with the players’ numbers, last names, and signatures. It also lists the scores from each of their four playoff victories. The ring includes wings carved on either side, symbolizing “the greatness of the other.”

In Super Bowl LIX, Philadelphia triumphed over the Green Bay Packers (22-10), Los Angeles Rams (28-22), NFC East rival Washington Commanders (55-23), and finally defeated the Kansas City Chiefs (40-22) in the title game. Quarterback and two-time Pro Bowler Jalen Hurts earned MVP honors for his performance in the Super Bowl.

Running back Saquon Barkley, formerly with NFC East rival New York Giants, rushed for an NFL-leading 2,005 yards during the regular season, averaging 5.8 yards per carry. He became the ninth player in NFL history to rush over 2,000 yards in a season and set an NFL record with a total of 2,504 rushing yards when combining regular and postseason. Defensively, linebacker Zack Baun recorded 151 combined tackles and five forced fumbles, Nakobe Dean tallied 128 total tackles, and defensive back CJ Gardner-Johnson led the team with six interceptions. Rookie defensive back Cooper Dejan scored a pick-six in the Super Bowl.

Overall, the Eagles ranked seventh in the NFL with 27.2 points per game and eighth in yards per game offensively. Defensively, they allowed 278.4 yards and 17.8 points per game, ranking second in the league for fewest points surrendered. Six Eagles earned Pro Bowl selections: Saquon Barkley, Zack Baun, defensive tackle Jaylen Carter, guard Landon Dickerson, offensive tackle Lane Johnson, and center Cam Jurgens. The Eagles will open the 2025 regular season against NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys on September 4th.
