The British Open Championship Trophy is nothing more than Scotty Schaeffler, the world’s number one golfer.
Schaeffler won his fourth major victory and previously won major wallets in the following events: the 2022 Masters, the 2024 Masters, the 2025 PGA Championship.
After tapping a par on the final hole, Schaeffler spoke about his fourth major victory.
“To be able to get a tournament and get a 18 up is really hard to explain. That’s a really cool feeling,” Schaeffler said according to ESPN. “I’m grateful to be able to achieve this.”
Schaeffler’s competitors had incredible words to Link’s superstar.
“He’s the bar we’re all trying to reach,” Rory McIlroy said. “In historical context, it can be argued that in the history of the game, Scotty has only had two or three players running with the players who have been here for the past 24-36 months. It’s incredibly impressive.”

After the tournament, Schaeffler took part in social media and shared his reaction to the Open Championship victory.
“The other side of the pond – this is special,” Schaeffler said. “I am very grateful to both golf and my friends, family and team.”
Several fans joined social media in the post release to show their love for the golf star.

During the 2025 PGA Tour season, Scotty Schaeffler won the following events: PGA Championship, CJ Cup Byron Nelson, Memorial Tournament, Open.
