Chelsea need more quality and depth with their offensive units, and the 22-year-old should prove to be a great acquisition. He can manipulate in multiple offensive roles, adding goals and creativity to the side.

The Dutch International was young enough to improve further, and with proper guidance he was able to develop into a key player for Chelsea. British regular football was able to bring out the best of him and help him realize his potential.

Simons has 21 goals and 23 assists from RB Leipzig in 76 games so far.

The opportunity to join Chelsea is appealing to him. They are one of the largest clubs in the world and have ambitious projects. They recently won two trophies, and they aim to compete for major trophies next season as well.
