Manchester United hopes to join Benjamin Sesco from RB Leipzig during the summer transfer.

The 22-year-old Slovenian is a player in demand this summer. Arsenal is keen to sign him at the start of the window, and Newcastle United now hopes to secure his signature. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can finalize the deal.

Manchester United sent a delegation from the club to Germany to get the deal done. They believe they can close the move with a fee of around 70 million euros (£60 million).

According to a report from Talksport, Manchester United also approached the 22-year-old striker to sign last summer. But they couldn’t get the deal done. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to succeed this time. It is no secret that they need quality strikers, and the Slovenians will be an exceptional acquisition. Sesco is young enough to improve further, and he has the attributes to succeed in the Premier League.

Manchester United have been doing well over the years to groom the talented young player, and have been able to help him meet his world-class potential at the 22-year-old. The opportunity to join one of the world’s largest clubs is also extremely exciting for players.

However, Manchester United has been experiencing a period of rebuilding and cannot offer him European football next season. Meanwhile, Newcastle could offer him Champions League action next season. It would be interesting to see what the striker decides.

Anyone who ends up signing him will have a future star in their hands. The player has the physicality and technical attributes to thrive in the UK, allowing him to develop into a reliable Premier League goal scorer. Sesko scored 21 goals last season and scored six assists.
