  • Daka has an important role
  • A massive escape in Leicester?

Leicester City manager Marti Schifuentes is hoping to hold a hand at Patson Daca over the next season.

Journalist Graeme Bailey revealed in an EFL analysis that the manager hopes to use Daka next season. It will be interesting to see if the former Red Bull Salzburg striker can meet expectations.

He hasn’t been consistent since joining the club in 2021, but could have more responsibility next season. Jamie Vardy has left the club. Daka is now the only striker. It will be interesting to see if he performs consistently at a high level and whether Leicester can seek promotion.

The club has been relegated to the championship and wants to bounce back hard. Clubs of their height must play on top flights regularly.

Daka has linked it to moves away from the club over the past few weeks.

A massive escape in Leicester?

Meanwhile, the report claims Leicester City has experienced financial difficulties and can start the season with a nine-point deduction. They need to sell some players, cut wage bills and raise money. It will be interesting to see if they can move on from their performance and improve their team at the same time. Introducing quality players is important to making your season a success.

It is expected that multiple high-income earners will be on their way out of the club to comply with the EFL registration rules. It is still unknown how the situation will develop. It is clear that there is a high chance that the club will be overhauled this summer. Leicester City fans certainly hope that the club will be able to return to the top flight soon after they return to the pitch.
