The wolves have had a difficult summer transfer window up until now, but they hope to finish it in the last few weeks. Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri’s departure to Man United and Man City, respectively, was a major blow, but that means they have a lot of money to spend.

Fer Lopez, Jhon Arias and David Møller Wolfe have been signed by the wolves so far, and more will be required before the transfer window closes at the beginning of September. Nelson Cemed’s departure, whose contract expired earlier last month, means that he needs a right-back and has the opportunity to get it from the championship.

According to Tom Collomousse of Daily Mail (via FootballFancast), Wolves is offered the opportunity to sign Milan Van Ewijk from Coventry. The 24-year-old, a standout performer on the championship side since joining from Heerenveen in 2023, is said to be available at a bargain price of £15 million.

The wolves have seen many right-back options over the past few weeks, including Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Ryerson. But while it may be very difficult for Sunderland and him to hit a deal, Van Ewick has a strong chance that they will be able to secure his signature if the move takes place before the summer transfer period closes.

It is set to be a very busy few weeks for wolves who need further reinforcement before the transfer window deadline arrives. Van Ewijk will be added to the top on the right back, but for now it remains to be seen whether he has been determined to be the person he needs.
