If you missed it, the unforgettable antics of Jimmy Butler and Buddy Heald have now been permanently celebrated.

Continuing their tradition, the Warriors announced special bobblehead giveaways for the first 10,000 fans attending the 2025 NBA preseason games at Chase Center.

Among these, the “Best Buddy” bobblehead featuring Butler and Heald will be given out on October 17th when the Warriors face off against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Since Butler joined the Bay Area team at the trade deadline last season, his playful relationship with Heald has grabbed plenty of attention. Their unexpected chemistry has solidified them as a fan-favorite duo, even though they hadn’t realized how iconic they could become for the Dub Nation.

Before the Butler-Heald bobblehead event, Golden State will also distribute a Steph Curry bobblehead to honor the star guard’s 2025 Kia NBA All-Star Game Kobe Bryant MVP award. This giveaway will take place on October 8th during the game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Because it’s a first-time giveaway with a strong backstory, the Butler and Heald bobblehead has already generated excitement and is sure to bring Dub Nation pouring into the arena mid-October.

Fan Take: This news highlights how player personalities and fan engagement can create lasting cultural moments in basketball beyond just the game. Celebrating unique player connections with collectibles like bobbleheads strengthens fan loyalty and adds a fun, memorable dimension to the sport.
