Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers.
According to a report from Daily Mail via TeamTalk, Aston Villa doesn’t want to sell a star player this summer, but Tottenham has expressed interest in the player and can submit an offer to him if he receives encouragement.
Rogers of Spurs Radar
The 23-year-old is currently one of the best young midfielders in the Premier League and has been outstanding towards Aston Villa this season. There is no doubt that he will change Tottenham in the future. However, they are also about to sign Ebebeki Eze of Crystal Palace. England International is in a similar role to that of Rogers. Signing two players of similar styles doesn’t make much sense. So it’s fair to assume that and ultimately end up signing one of the two.
Morgan Rogers is the outlook for an elite
Rogers is a huge talent for a bright future, and he has all the attributes to develop into a top-class player in the future. He is still quite young and only improves with coaching and experience. If Tottenham manages to sign him, he will be a solid investment for them.
Meanwhile, Tottenham is also working on signing Manchester City attacker Savin Ho. It is clear that they are desperate to improve their offensive units before the summer transfer window closes. They appear to have no teeth on attacks from time to time last season and need to improve in that area of the pitch. Signing a central midfielder and wide player is a priority for them. Ideally, they should also try to invest in strikers.
