When Arsenal contacts directly, £140K-A Week PSG Ace is seriously considering the exit

Arsenal sports director Andrea Berta is still actively looking at window opportunities, as recently confirmed by Mikel Arteta.

Last week, Arteta confirmed that Arsenal could still make another addition, despite Arsenal already spending £200 million north on six major signatures, but reports suggest that they will have to sell players first.

Fabio Vieira, Carl Hein, Albert Sambi Loconga, Reese Nelson, Olexandre Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior have been mentioned as candidates for the exit doors at Emirates Stadium, and neither are the exits for either Gabriel Martinelli or Lando Torosad.

In particular, Trossard is entering the final year of his contract, and Arsenal will want to make money from his sales rather than losing him for free in 2026.

If that happened, Arsenal could have tried to target another left wing instead of Ebeki Eze, who is speaking to join North London rival Tottenham.

“Arsenal is also interested in Eze and cannot discount the evening window movement. However, his desire to give Ethan Nwaneri in issue 10 of this season has made him hesitant to add another central attacker within the club.”

“Arsenal is also focusing on expulsion. They could aim to bring in another left field instead if Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli depart. Both players could remain, but if the exit is realized, Trossard is more likely to leave the pair.”

In his latest press conference, Arteta suggested that Arsenal should continue to bolster after an already productive summer.

“Of course, it’s about supporting me, not just supporting my team, supporting the vision, ideas, especially the level we play, the competition we have, and what we expect,” Arteta said when asked if Arsenal had supported him this summer.

“So we have to improve our team. We have to improve the quality and depth of that team. And we certainly did it in a really great way.”

The possibility of adding the right players could emerge over this last two weeks of the window, and Arteta is known to place emphasis on versatility as an important characteristic when identifying most transfer targets.

Taking this into consideration, it’s no surprise to see them linking to the final gasp dive at 140,000 pounds a week PSG utility man Lee Kangin.

Korea International can operate as a midfielder who attacks right, left, left, and as a striker if necessary.

The 24-year-old was a regular under Luis Enrique in 2024/2025, but did not make a single appearance in the Champions League since the quarter-finals.

According to CatedOffside, he is currently “seriously considering” the exit for Parc des Princes, and the outlet reports that Arsenal has “direct contact” about signing Lee as he slowly approaches the summer deadline.

Enrique has turned the original Mallorca Ace overturned for a bright future.

“Lee, he’s small, but he can get a score forward, behind, in, on the side, defend, he’s a perfect player,” said the 2023 PSG boss.

“He’s a big signature for the club. When we signed him we knew his potential. He still needs to improve, but he’s working well.”
