“Under Pressure” – Insider provides a terrible update on Graham Potter’s future as West Ham Manager

The last few seasons were desperately disappointing for West Ham. West Ham continued on Saturday with a comprehensive 3-0 defeat to Sunderland at Wright’s Stadium.

This has led to an increase in pressure on Graham Potter, who had an overwhelming spell as manager since taking over Julen Lopetegui during last season. Hammer meandered to the 14th place finish on the occasion, but it’s even worse, especially if you lose someone like Lucas Paketa.

And if West Ham’s struggle continues, most of the blame could lie to Potter.

Speaking to a football insider, Mick Brown revealed that after one new season of match, he is putting pressure on Potter, who is already fighting to save his job at London Stadium.

“The managers are definitely under pressure. Things weren’t good enough when they took over last season. The loss to Sunderland was a disastrous way to start a new season.

“Unfortunately, that’s not a big surprise to me. I don’t think the club is set up for managers to succeed, and I always felt there was some looseness that emanates from the top.

“They’re a big club, West Ham, and sometimes they feel like they think it’s enough to see them. But aside from that, the manager has to do better with the team he has. That’s the same for everyone. If you’re not winning the game, that’s what you do in the end.

Sunderland was one of West Ham’s Premier League matches to begin the season. So if they don’t perform in the next few weeks, Potter could be the first manager to be fired.
