Chelsea were frustrated with leaving the equalizer late to Brentford on Saturday evening, making them frustrated with only the point.

It’s far from a classic blues display, with Cole Palmer coming out of the bench early in the second half to get 1-1.

However, Brentford managed its downtime target to 2-2, which resulted in its presumably fair overall.

After what feels like three important points for Chelsea, read our player ratings…

Chelsea Player Review

Robert Sanchez – (6/10) – Even if it was a decent finish, it probably wouldn’t completely convince Brentford’s goal, but he made a save and most seemed solid.

Wesley Fofana – (5/10) – Entering as a makeshift right back, Wesley Fofana was very unconvinced about this role, and generally a little farther away. I was hooked for Reese James at halftime.

Jorell Hat – (5/10) -Also poor today, Yorel Hat was another person who looked out of the pace and didn’t last long.

Toshin Adarabiyo – (6/10) – Brentford’s goal is not very strong as he is slow to read danger and could have done more to close players, but is otherwise solid.

Trevoh Chalobah – (7/10) – There were some good passes and leadership, which was a real test for Chelsea, and strong performances in the back.

Moises Caicedo- (8.5/10) – Although not his best game, he provided quality at the most important time with a stunning late goal, giving Chelsea three important points.

Enzo Fernandez – (7/10) – Although he grew into the game, he looked like a player who returned from long flights around the world due to his international duties with Argentina, not his best.

Facundo Buonanotte- (6/10) – One or two moments he showed his quality, but overall it’s not enough to make a great impression, one of the few players who get hooked at halftime.

Pedro Neto – (6.5/10) – Hardworking and lively, but nothing Pedro Neto tried for him this evening.

Jamie Gittens – (5.5/10) – Though he looked worried from the depths of his life, it’s still an early age for Jamie Gittens of the Premier League. Vulgar early in the second half.

Joao Pedro- (6.5/10) – Although he couldn’t get on the score sheet today, he has the quality and gives Chelsea a pre-existing presence that he has lacked in recent years.

Subs: Cole Palmer (8/10), Tyrique George (6.5/10), Reese James (7/10), Mark Kukurera (7/10), Alejandro Garnacho (6.5/10)
