  • McCoist smokes with “incredible” Martin’s decision

Pressure continues to be mounted on Rangers manager Russell Martin, with GERS legend Ally McCoist now describing one situation as “incredible.”

New updates for Martin’s Rangers Future

Thanks to Lawrence Shankland’s double, Hart won 2-0 at Ibrox was a horrifying day in the Rangers’ office on Saturday afternoon.

For Martin, it is potentially another nail in the co, and the 39-year-old has started his GERS life very unfortunately, and has yet to win the game in the Scottish Premiership this season.

That said, new reports suggest that the British have been given a vote of trust by their owners for the time being. Daily Record The 49ers company claims it has “decided to stick” with him.

It is clear that the Rangers need large-scale improvements in terms of outcomes, performance, and Martin’s relationship with certain players.

Talk live Talksport Monday (via) Rangers Review), McCoist lamented the situation with Rangers’ Nicholas Ruskin, and Martin continued to freeze Key midfielders from the team.

“Russkin has obviously a problem now. There’s no doubt about it. Nothing has happened. But from where I’m sitting, you’re not staring at me. If Russkin has problems, and he (Russell Martin) clearly has it.

“We were all sitting there watching that match over the weekend and Ruskin stepped into that team. He scored internationally in Belgium in the week. There’s no one on the planet who says that Ruskin shouldn’t be with the Rangers from 11.

“Why isn’t he in starting 11? That has to be an incredible reason, because if it doesn’t detrimental to the team, you can’t leave him. The team is most important, not individual issues between the manager and the player.”

This is a story that desperately needs sorting, and Martin’s stubbornness is definitely backfire now that he doesn’t play Ruskin, and the manager has to bite the bullet and return it.

It feels like Martin is on the edge of Ibrox, so frankly he can make a difference and play a key player to save his job.

But whether he is willing to do so, and if his decision is made in Ruskin, nothing will change unless he is rejected, or until the midfielder leaves in January.
