I played against Drogba and Henry, but the “strong” Premier League icon was the most difficult

Didier Drogba and Thierry Henry represent the iconic Premier League era. In the age of long sleeves, the T90 balls flying in all sorts of directions, and of course some of the greatest rivals British football has ever seen.

It is correct that both Drogba and Henry appeared in such an era. The former is often the man of great opportunity at Chelsea sits with the greats of Stamford Bridge history. Henry, on the other hand, is undoubtedly the best Premier League player of all time. The French were just ridiculous at their best.

So many people praise both. Arsenal, the legendary former manager of Arasenal, once told reporters. “People like Thierry Henry (and others) had exceptional qualities. They run 100 meters in 11 seconds when everyone else did it at 12.5 or 13.

“They start with great potential, which is why they still have the intelligence of football, so they can survive.

Meanwhile, Wenger’s counterpart, Jose Mourinho, rarely hid his praise for Drogba. The so-called “special thing” formed a partnership with the forward during his time at Chelsea.

“Undoubtedly, he is one of the most important players in the club’s history. That’s no doubt. All of us, Chelsea supporters, agree. We don’t say the most important thing because it’s not fair to others who were on the same level or at the same generation.”

As good as both are, Manchester United legend Neiman Viddick has nominated an alternative player as the toughest opponent he’s ever played.

Man UTD Icon Vidic reveals that Rooney is the toughest opponent

Due to all the big fights he had with Drogba and Henry, Vidic’s toughest game often came on the training pitch with Wayne Rooney. The former Manchester United defender was asked by Rio Ferdinand to pick the toughest opponent among the three mentioned above and immediately get his old teammate to name him.

“Wayne Rooney. Clearly Didier Drogba has put on so many big challenges against him when he’s competing.

It should not be a shock to see the Serb defender struggle with Rooney. The former English forward is one of the best the Premier League has ever seen. He scored 208 goals and has supported another 103 in an incredible career.

I would like to thank Vidic for not being a competitive outing at the club level, but simply playing Rooney in training. The other centrebacks had no same luck and were quickly placed on the sword.

These three were certainly the main men of their time when it comes to Premier League strikers. All icons are on the right in themselves, but Vidic’s verdict suggests that Rooney left a mark on both Manchester United and the rest of the British football.
