Man City will continue to strengthen Pep Guardiola’s team next summer. The middle part is one area that requires work. Rodri’s proper partner could even leave himself as he linked his move to Real Madrid, but is sought after by the club boss.

Signing a central midfielder to accompany Rodri and Tijani Reyjner is a top priority for Man City, who has already begun work on target identification. However, they were hit hard by their hopes of landing their top men.

According to a soccer insider, Pete O’Rourke has revealed that PSG has not heard of the offer from Joao Neves, who is considered the target of Man City’s dream midway.

“It’s amazing that PSG even considers letting go of Neves. He’s a key part of their immediate and long-term future, and he had a significant impact on his debut season as PSG won Treble.

“Obviously, if he can do that, it’s going to be a dream signature for Man City and Guardiola. He’s the top young player and thinks he’s very high in the Ballon d’Or or rankings.

Neves would certainly have been an ideal addition to Guardiola’s team, but it’s no surprise that he’s not transferable. A search for the right alternative must now be launched for Man City officials.
