Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli has sent a rather clear message to manager Mikel Arteta as he admits he wants to play all the games.

Speaking in the mix zone after winning the Olympiacos in the 2-0 Champions League last night, Martinelli discussed his role in the team this season as Arteta has spinned his team so much.

This means that when Martinelli attended the team’s final Champions League match and attended the final Champions League match against Athletic Bilbao, he had to settle down to being a bit of a super sub when he got off the bench before grabbing goals and assists.

Martinelli also came out of the bench to score an equalizer in his recent 1-1 draw with Manchester City, so he certainly has an impact on this role.

However, he still did well after being given the opportunity at the starting line yesterday evening, and appears to be eager to win a regular few minutes.

Gabriel Martinelli’s message to Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta

Martinelli claims to always respect the manager’s decisions regarding team selection and make it clear that he wants to play all the games, so check out below…

Arsenal fans will be pleased that Martinelli has improved this season.

The 24-year-old is a great player of his time and young enough to continue improving, so this revival is a real encouragement for Arsenal’s outlook this season.

The extra offensive race from new signatures like Eberechi Eze and Noni Maduke really seems to have caused something for both Martinelli and Martin Odegaard, the latter going through the difficult times of last season and sometimes bounce back before returning to a recent match.
