Raducanu withdraws from the first round match of Wuhan Open

Emma Radukanu withdraws from the first round match at the Uhan Open after a medical timeout in the second set.

World No. 30 chased US Anley 6-4, 6-1 when she made the decision to quit.

She had to take blood pressure, temperature and other checks after dizziness throughout the second set, and was placed in the lead commanding Li through double faulting.

Raducanu’s recent rise has led her to the third round at Wimbledon and the US Open, but since then she has finished the Korean and China Open with the last 16 stages and the last 32 stages.
