  • Nottingham Forest really wants Marco Silva in the relationship of Marinakis

Nottingham Forest Manager Ange Postecoglou is putting pressure on him as the tricky tree considers his potential alternative just 29 days before his tenure in Australia.

Nottingham Forest is doing due digerigation with a new manager after post-ecogul began

As is standard when managers face an uncertain future, Forest is believed to fulfill their obligatory obligations against potential post-coglu alternatives if they decide to pull the plug.

The former Tottenham boss, who helped the Spurs wait for the major trophy of 17 years in May, was able to show his P45 again in the forest a month before Marinakis appointed a tactician to replace his fan favorite Nuno Espirito Santo.

Marinakis personally chose to hire Post-Coglu for his offensive style, in a departure from Nuno’s practical, anti-aggressive approach, but he is personally desperate to see it work (Ben Jacobs).

However, other reports claim that the Greek billionaire is personally infuriated by the current forest situation on the pitch, and TeamTalk says that it is “just” that Postecoglou was plundered by Forest after the first seven games of barren.

So far, Ange Postecoglou’s tenure in Nottingham Forest

If Postecoglou is let go in the next 12 days, he will become the shortest Premier League boss in the history of the competition, when he was dismissed by Charlton Athletic just 41 days in 2006.

In terms of who can take over the 60-year-old, there are already several interesting names linked to it, more than Crystal Palace’s boss Oliver Grasner.

Glasner has just seen his team’s impressive 19-game unbeaten run thanks to Jack Grelish’s Everton winner and will definitely be the best contender.

The Austrians led the palace to their first major trophy earlier this year, beating Man City 2-1 in the FA Cup final at Wembley, which booked them a spot in the Europa League.

His Selhurst Park deal is due to expire at the end of this season, with no signs of a renewal so far, and could open the door for Marinakis, with Glasner emerging as a major candidate to replace Forest’s Post-Coglue.

Fulham’s Marco Silva is in the same contract situation, and the Portuguese doesn’t seem to be much of a content in West London, and has publicly swiped over the club’s lack of transfer activity.

Nottingham Forest really wants Marco Silva in the relationship of Marinakis

Silva, who led Olympiacos to the Greek Super League title in 2016, worked with Marinakis during that time, but the duo still has a good relationship.

That’s what Talksport said if Silva decides to kick Postecoglou out the door, Silva reports that it is very high on Forest’s wanted list.

The 48-year-old led Fulham to a championship title and subsequent promotion to the Premier League, and has kept them ever since, with White fighting for a short shortage in the final hurdles for last season’s Europe.

Silva has achieved this despite working with very limited resources and appears keen to stay in the UK after rejecting “some favorable offers” from Saudi Arabia.

Tacticians have also earned praise from fellow elites like Pep Guardiola, who praised his work at Fulham in 2024.

“Amazing. Not just this season. He was promoted by Fulham playing excellent football,” Guardiola said.

“It really worked last season. His pattern, defensive and offensive. I admire him very much. Not just Fulham, but the work he did.

“It really worked for Watford (he) and there are some issues in Everton, but in Fulham it has his impact.”
